A dry ridge system uses mechanical fixings and a roll-out gasket to secure ridge and hip tiles instead of traditional sand-and-cement mortar. Dry ridge is now the industry standard on new roofs because it is more durable, requires less maintenance and provides better ventilation. We recommend dry ridge for all new and re-roofed projects, and it can also be retrofitted to existing roofs.

The best tile depends on your property style, local planning requirements and budget. Clay plain tiles suit traditional homes, concrete tiles offer great value for money, and natural slate is the premium choice for longevity and appearance. During your free survey, we will assess your roof and recommend the most suitable option.

Common warning signs include slipped or missing tiles visible from the ground, damp patches or stains on ceilings and walls, daylight showing through the roof space, moss or lichen growth lifting tile edges, and crumbling or missing ridge mortar. If you notice any of these, it is worth arranging an inspection sooner rather than later to prevent further damage.

Yes. We carry a large stock of both new and reclaimed tiles and can source most common types quickly. Where an exact match is difficult to find, we will discuss your options — often we can use reclaimed tiles from a salvage yard or reposition existing tiles so the best match is in the most visible area.
