Last updated: 21 April 2026
1. Who we are
This privacy notice explains how Alyris Ltd, trading as Radiant Roofing(“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses your personal data. We are the data controller for the information you submit through our website.
Registered address: Alpha House, Crowborough Hill, Crowborough, East Sussex, TN6 2EG, United Kingdom.

2. What information we collect
When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (if provided)
- The service you are enquiring about
- Any details you include in the message field
- The page you submitted the form from (for quality tracking)
- Your IP address and approximate location (used for rate-limiting, spam prevention, and to personalise the page with your area name)
- The date and time of submission
We do not knowingly collect payment card details through the website. Invoicing and payment are handled separately once a quote has been accepted.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your enquiry and provide a quote
- Carry out the roofing work you have requested
- Keep records of quotes, invoices and correspondence for statutory and tax purposes
- Contact you about your job (scheduling, follow-up, guarantee queries)
- Prevent fraud and abuse of our contact form
4. Lawful basis
We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:
- Consent — when you submit the contact form, you are consenting to us processing the information you provide in order to respond to you.
- Legitimate interest — we have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, protecting our website from spam, and keeping accurate records of work carried out.
- Legal obligation — where we are required to keep records for tax or statutory warranty purposes.
5. How long we keep your information
Enquiry data is retained for up to 3 years after last contact, so we can follow up on quotes and refer back to prior conversations. Where an enquiry leads to work carried out, invoicing and correspondence records are retained for 6 years in line with HMRC requirements.
6. Who we share your information with
We share your data only with service providers who help us run the site:
- Google LLC — Gmail is used to deliver contact-form emails to our inbox. Governed by Google's privacy terms.
- Vercel Inc. — hosts the website and edge infrastructure, including geolocation headers used to personalise the homepage.
- Analytics providers — when enabled, Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics may be used to measure anonymised site usage. This is covered in our cookies section below.
We never sell your personal data. We only share data with third parties where necessary to deliver the service you have requested, or where required by law.
7. Cookies and tracking
Our site uses functional cookies needed for the website to work. When analytics or advertising tags are enabled via Google Tag Manager, additional cookies may be set to measure aggregated site usage and ad performance. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
We also store a small amount of data in your browser's session storage to cache your area name during your visit — this is cleared automatically when you close the tab.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data erased where there is no ongoing legitimate reason to keep it
- Restrict or object to processing
- Port your data to another controller
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@radiantroofing.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including rate-limiting on the contact form and encrypted transport (HTTPS) across the entire site.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any material changes will be reflected on this page, with a revised “last updated” date.
